Draft artist statement
My work moves between materials to explore how inner experience becomes form. I am drawn to acts of assembling, layering, holding, breaking, and repair—gestures that echo the ways memory, relationship, and identity are made and remade.
The studio is a place of inquiry rather than illustration. Working across media allows each question to find its own structure: weight and presence in sculpture, immediacy in drawing, accumulation in collage, and atmosphere in painting. Across the work, I return to care, adaptation, and the emotional lives of the systems we inhabit.
